Should an engagement for a daily rate prove to take less than a Day, the hourly rate will apply for the hours actually worked.
Similarly, should a weekly engagement take less than five days, the daily rate would be applied to the actual days worked.
There is no similar deduction as above for the monthly rate.
Work performed on a weekend in the Effective Agreements' office that does not include negotiations is charged at the normal hourly rate. Weekend work at the client's office, out of town and/or including negotiations is charged at time-and-a-half.
Travel is charged at the hourly rate with a half day minimum, unless a weekly or monthly rate is in effect. It should be noted that work for the client is almost always performed during the flight.
